An Invitation to Lead
The Sacred Society of Sisters (SOS) Steering Committee is a trusted tribe of GirlTREK members representing different generations, geographic communities, backgrounds, and years within the movement.
Convened as a small but powerful circle, SOS exists not to govern, but to guide — with wisdom, alignment, clarity, and accountability. As protectors of GirlTREK's mission and legacy, these sisters help us listen more deeply to our members, identify and remove roadblocks, offer insight, and keep our work rooted in the needs of the women we serve.

This Black August
Walk, Talk + Advocate
Our leadership doesn't stop with our crews. It extends into the issues shaping the health, safety, and freedom of Black women and our communities.
This Black August, we invite you to walk and talk with GirlTREK as we continue our Advocacy Teach-In Series on Wednesday, August 26 at 7 PM ET, where we will be joined by the Founder & Executive Director of RestoreHER, Pamela Winn.
Together, we'll dig into storytelling as a powerful advocacy tool and explore how our own stories can help advance a critical demand of GirlTREK's Joy & Justice Agenda:

GirlTREK's national field offices will be closed next week for our annual Summer Recharge Break. Our team is taking intentional time to rest, restore, and return ready for the work ahead.
