Hey Sis,

There’s something powerful about starting your day before the world fully wakes up. When the air is still soft, the streets are quiet, and you can actually hear yourself think. On Friday, October 31st, we’re inviting you to experience that sacred stillness, together.

We are honored to lead a Sacred Sunrise Walk through the heart of Houston in collaboration with Blavity Health. As part of AfroTech 2025, this walk is a moment to ground, to breathe, to remember who we are and why we move.

We’ll gather at 7:00 AM sharp outside the George R. Brown Convention Center. From there, we’ll walk through the city’s early morning streets, guided by joy, reflection, and community care.

And yes, it’s Halloween, so come how you feel. Costumes, capes, face paint, or your favorite GirlTREK tee,  we welcome it all. Show up in whatever helps you feel most free.

We can’t wait to start the day with you.
