Calling all GirlTREK Seattle-area sisters!

Join GirlTREK Seattle for the AfricaTown Heritage Parade THIS Saturday, August 1st, at 10:00 AM PST.

Dear Seattle GirlTREK Sisters,

Get ready to strut your stuff! πŸ“’

This year, GirlTREK is showing up in a big way at Umoja Fest, one of Seattle’s longest-running celebrations of Black community, culture, and joy. We are calling on every GirlTREK sister in the Seattle area to join us as we walk together in the AfricaTown Heritage Parade this Saturday.

This is one of our biggest opportunities all year to showcase the power of our sisterhood. For nearly two decades, GirlTREK has been transforming communities one walk at a time. When hundreds of women step out in superhero blue, people don’t just see usβ€”they feel what’s possible. Now it’s our turn to show Seattle what that sisterhood looks like in motion!

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your daughters, your sons, your neighbors, your coworkersβ€”everyone is welcome to walk alongside us. The only thing we ask is that GirlTREKers wear their superhero blue so our movement is visible from blocks away.
